Solarize Our Congregation now offers Community Solar!

Solarize Our Congregation, is offering renewable energy and guaranteed savings to churches, congregants and friends of the Hudson River Presbytery through community solar! Provided in partnership with HRP Green, the environmental committee of the Hudson River Presbytery, our first community solar project is available to congregations in CENTRAL HUDSON territory. We are actively working to bring community solar opportunities to churches in the other utility service territories.

What is community solar?

Community solar allows almost anyone with a utility account – churches, homeowners, renters, and small business operators – to easily benefit from solar energy. Subscribers receive a share of the value of energy produced from a large solar installation located in your region. There is no installation on your property, no cost to join, guaranteed savings and you support new local renewable energy projects!
